If occurrences such as this are purely accident then why do we go to such great lengths to explain them? If the system we've created by which we can comprehend matter, time and life is the end of our ability to understand them aren't we truly powerless?  Think about original sin. think about the deception there. The idea that by knowing good and evil we would become as powerful as God seems silly when you realize that we can't even understand the material things around us, how then do we expect to understand good and evil? It is true to a degree that knowledge brings power but because of our finiteness we will never truly understand. And understanding is perhaps the most empowering of all intellectual pursuits. That is why though we have the knowledge of good and evil it profits us nothing. that is why man's greed continues to lead him in a downward spiral toward ultimate destruction. That is why though we believed that such pursuit would make us like gods, we still find ourselves desperately in need of Deliverance. So many People try to disprove God with science, but everything I learn about science proves Him more. What causes dust and gas within a nebula to form into a star? what causes light waves to stretch making distant galaxies appear red? How does our solar system manage to keep the precise balance needed to keep us from getting sucked into the sun by it's gravity? why are there entire species of animals that exist only in one cave and serve only one purpose in that cave's eco system? To me it's clear. there are no accidents. and even though we increase our knowledge we will never reach a point where we are freed from the one huge looming question that fuels our constant quest for knowledge. "Why"

Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

I am a shitty friend. I don't even try. It's fucking bullshit. No wonder I'm always bored, and never have anything to say. I hate it. plus I think I have some weird fear of hanging out one on one with people. I guess I'm afraid they'll think I'm boring or weird or something. so I only hang out at parties and events. I guess I'm that guy. and I've made myself that guy. The guy who only hangs out when there's something going on and isn't really friends with anybody there. He's just there to have a good time. He doesn't just call you up to talk or play video games or whatever it is that people are supposed to do when they hang out. so here I am, sitting at home all alone, being sad because me and so and so aren't as good of friends as we used to be. and thinking that so and so seems kind of annoyed at me. I feel like I don't have any friends, at least no close friends and I'm feeling sad about it but it's my own damn fault.

I'm ready for people to realize that this election is not about democrats and republicans. I'm ready for people to wake up. change is such a huge topic this election. both sides are full of slogans about it. and let's face america needs change. but I don't really think that americans want it. because I think in order to really change anything we need a change on both the part of the government and the people. what we really need is a change of Lifestyle. face it the american people live like they own the world but don't even own their homes. we love our comfort and we say we want change because we want the government to change around us and enable us to live the way we want to live. We call it freedom. but it's not. the more government involvement we have in our lives, the more regulations we have, the less the living we work for will be worth, and the more our economy which is so important to our capitalistic society will suffer. lets face it america, if the people who print our money are trillions of dollars in debt our money in our bank accounts and wallets are worthless. and we are being held back by them.

let's stop being democrats or republicans and start being the american people. there's actually 17 candidates for president. vote for the one you believe in not the one the media tells you to.

I killed Jesus today. and I didn't even do anything. I guess that's the problem. if to live is Christ, then to live as though he never existed is anti-Christ. but He did exist. He DOES exist. though His body no longer graces our world with its presence since His ascension , we the church are his incarnation. through our carrying out of his mission, and living for His kingdom we continue his ministry on earth every day. and by living for ourselves we oppose him. Christ lives on in our world daily through us. and I (as I so often do) denied Him that chance.
